The International Journal of Leadership Studies (IJLS)* is a refereed scholarly open access journal that exists to provide a forum for leadership scholars within the U.S. and around the world.
Representing the multidisciplinary field of leadership, the IJLS publishes theoretically grounded research that enhances knowledge and understanding of the phenomenon of leadership at all levels within a variety of industries and organizations and seeks contributions that present leadership from different perspectives unique to different cultures, settings, and religions around the world.
All of our journal articles may be reprinted in accordance with the doctrine of fair use as described in the U.S. Copyright Law. Anyone wishing to reprint School of Business & Leadership articles for commercial use or monetary gain must request permission and pay the associated fee.
*Fomerly known as the Journal of Organizational Leadership, the International Journal of Leadership Studies has intensified its publishing requirements and has expanded its focus to include global perspectives on leadership. Therefore, the name has been changed to better reflect the Journal's focus.
