Regent University’s School of Nursing Announces Healthcare Hero Scholarship™ for Nurses
VIRGINIA BEACH, VA (April 16, 2020) – In a show of support to the dedicated healthcare heroes serving amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, Regent University’s School of Nursing is offering a $5,000 Healthcare Hero Scholarship™ to all licensed, registered nurses.
“During this critical time, the Regent community recognizes the sacrifice and life-saving care nurses around the world are providing,” said Dr. Gerson Moreno-Riaño, executive vice president for Academic Affairs. “This scholarship reflects our gratitude and commitment to help nurses earn the advanced credentials needed to meet 21st century healthcare demands.”
For a limited time, nurses who enroll in Regent’s RN to Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Master of Science in Nursing degree programs by October 26, 2020 and begin courses by Fall 2020, will receive the $5,000 Healthcare Hero Scholarship™.
