Regent University Takes Top Honors in the Coastal Virginia Magazine Awards 2024
VIRGINIA BEACH, VA (July 16, 2024) – Regent University is featured in the Coastal Virginia Magazine Awards 2024 issue for its Overall Gold win as the “Best Private College/University” in the region.

Each year, Coastal Virginia Magazine asks its readers to nominate and vote for their favorite individual, group, or institution from various areas of business. Nominees with high votes are selected to represent both the southside and the peninsula. However, the nominee that gets the most votes across the region earns the Overall Gold, as the best of the best in Coastal Virginia.
This year, Coastal Virginia Magazine received a record number of votes—nearly 250,000 were cast to determine the 2024 class of winners. A celebration to honor the southside victors will take place on Thursday, July 25, from 6 to 9:00 p.m. at The Founders Inn in Virginia Beach.
