Regent Law Welcomes Two New Faculty Members

VIRGINIA BEACH, VA (May 30, 2024) – Regent University School of Law is pleased to announce the addition of two new faculty members, Christian Edmonds and Erin K. DeBoer.

Professor Edmonds will serve as an assistant professor and also direct Regent’s Robertson Center for Constitutional Law.

Edmonds joins the faculty after clerking for three judges: Hon. Steven Grasz of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit, Hon. Robert C. Brack of the United States District Court for the District of New Mexico, and Hon. Thomas R. Lee of the Utah Supreme Court. He also served as an assistant solicitor general in Nebraska. Articles by Professor Edmonds have appeared or are forthcoming in the Texas Review of Law and Politics, Creighton Law Review, and Regent University Law Review. He graduated with honors from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law and magna cum laude from Oklahoma Baptist University.

Professor DeBoer will serve as a tenure-track assistant professor and direct Regent Law’s legal writing program.

DeBoer clerked for Virginia Supreme Court Chief Justice Bernard Goodwyn and has served at Regent Law as a lecturer and adjunct professor. She graduated summa cum laude from both Regent University School of Law and Hillsdale College.
