    Write an essay between 400 and 600 words on the following:

    "Describe a time you faced a great deal of criticism from an authority figure in your life. How did you handle this situation and what impact did it have on your life? Did you accept, reject, or modify this criticism in your life and how did you use this situation to improve?"

      Recommendations

      Please enter below the names, email addresses and phone numbers of two people who are willing to complete a letter of recommendation for you. The first entry should be a teacher or counselor or someone who can speak to your academic abilities. The second entry should be someone who knows you well and who can speak to your character (i.e., youth pastor, scout leader, coach, etc.). Please do not use family members for references. These references will be contacted and asked to complete an on-line letter of recommendation for you. By entering the names and contact information, you are certifying that you are allowing Regent University to request this information on your behalf and that you authorize the release of this letter of recommendation to members of the Honors Program committee for review.

The submitted responses will be treated as your writing sample and evaluated for spelling, grammar, etc. as part of the admissions process.     • To complete the Honors College application process, Regent must receive a copy of your high school transcripts. Decisions on the Honors College are made only after students have been accepted to Regent University.
