Dr. B. Sunny Miller holds a Ph.D. in Renewal Theology from Regent University, a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies, and a Master of Arts in Christian Education from Ashland Theological Seminar. Dr. Miller taught religion classes at Ashland University and later wrote and taught classes for Lee University’s online program. Dr. Miller has co-authored two books, one of which is a textbook on chaplaincy for undergraduate students entitled Outside the Gates: The History, Theology, and Practice of Chaplaincy Ministry. Currently, she works at a level-one trauma hospital as a chaplain serving patients and families in the greater Roanoke area. Dr. Miller most enjoys playing board games with her three children and husband and working out when possible. The title of her dissertation is “The Use of Isaiah in Luke 1-2: An Intertextual Investigation With Trinitarian Theological Considerations of Luke’s Approach.”
