Sonja Maggi, Ed.D.
Bio
Sonja Maggi is an assistant professor and internship coordinator in the School of Education. She teaches online courses in reading and special education content and oversees the mentorship of interns as the assistant professor for the M.Ed. Special Education and Reading Specialist Licensure Program internship courses.
Maggi earned her Doctorate in Advanced Educational Leadership from Regent University (2023), an M.Ed. from Regent University (1991), and a B.S. in Special Education from James Madison University (1988). She taught special education, mentored teachers, and served in various leadership capacities within the public school system.
She is dedicated to the university’s mission of educating Christian Leadership to Change the World.
