Sandra Alcaide, J.D.
Bio
Sandra Alcaide serves as an Assistant Professor in the experiential learning program of Regent University School of Law. Prior to joining the Law School’s faculty, Alcaide served as an Assistant District Attorney at the Bronx County District Attorney’s Office in New York City. She specialized in prosecuting domestic violence, child abuse, and sexual crimes cases. Alcaide then served as a staff attorney with the Campus Advocates project at Sanctuary for Families, where she represented victims of domestic violence in family court as well as college students and employees who were complainants in Title IX cases. Prior to practicing law, Alcaide served as a middle school public school teacher in Bronx County, New York through Teach for America.
Alcaide received her B.A. from New York University, her M.S. in Special Education from Hunter College, and her J.D. from Regent University School of Law.
