Bio

Dr. Christian Ramsey joins the faculty of Regent University as a post-doctoral fellow, bringing with him a diverse background in education and ministry. At Southwestern Christian University, he taught courses in Bible studies, theology, philosophy, and global leadership while also serving as a pastor at New Hope Worship Center. Previously, he was the Director of Curriculum Development at Oklahoma Wesleyan University, where he enriched its Christian worldview through every program and taught courses on spiritual formation, apologetics, worldview, and the New Testament. Earlier in his career, he held various positions at Butler Community College, starting as an adult education instructor before becoming an instructional technologist. During his time at Butler, he also taught the Old Testament, New Testament, and preparatory algebra courses while serving as a church planter.

Dr. Ramsey holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from Emporia State University, a Master of Arts in Theology from Wesley Biblical Seminary, a Master of Theology in Biblical Studies, and a Ph.D. in Renewal Theology, both from Regent University. He has published academic articles on both the Old and New Testament and speaks at various conferences. Driven by a deep passion for equipping others for their divine purpose, he guides people toward transformative encounters with Jesus. He has shared over twenty beautiful years of marriage with his best friend, Terri. Together, they have enjoyed leading discipleship groups in their home for more than two decades. The deep connections he has forged with his former students and others along the way have been truly invaluable.
