Boniface Odong, Ph.D.

Bio

Dr. Boniface Odong, a Uganda native, became assistant professor at the Regent University School of Divinity in July 2023 after serving a brief term as adjunct faculty in early Spring.

Odong holds a Ph.D. in Theological Studies with a concentration in Biblical Studies and a Master of Divinity from Regent University. He also holds a Master’s in Social Work from Radford University.

Dr. Odong previously taught at Uganda Christian University’s School of Social Sciences. His dissertation examined the Shepherd Motif in 1 Peter as a Descriptor of Ecclesial Leadership: A Socio-Rhetorical Analysis. His areas of interest include The New Testament, Hermeneutics (Biblical Exegesis), and Leadership.

Odong is an ordained minister and serves in the D.C. Metropolitan Area. He is passionate about raising the spiritual temperature of God’s people. Dr. Odong currently serves as Pastor of Refoveo Church in Washington, D.C., an International Pentecostal Holiness Church. Here is a link to the testimony of Dr. Odong.
