Still Not Sure?

“One of the most powerful experiences I had during this mentorship was realizing I wasn’t walking this road alone. The encouragement, the accountability, and the honest conversations gave me fuel to keep pressing forward when old mindsets tried to creep in. I found clarity in my purpose, and being surrounded by others who were just as committed to growth and healing gave me hope and strength. I was provided a referral for future collaboration. I learned to embrace my voice, sharpen my vision, and step more confidently into the calling God placed on my life. Future participants—come with an open heart and expect transformation. It’s more than mentorship—it’s a divine encounter with destiny”
Janet L. Garcia, Doctor of Strategic Leadership, 2025 Mentee
“The Executive Mentor Program was precisely what I needed to clarify my future. It broadened my perspective, inspired hope, and gave me a sense of purpose. Words can't fully capture how much this experience has influenced my professional goals, helping me define my current status and my future ambitions. I'm grateful to my mentor, Dr. Lenz, for his ongoing support and the resources provided to help me achieve my project goals. Thanks to him, I am on the verge of making a meaningful impact in my career as an entrepreneur educator.”
Joseph Uwagaba, DBA, 2028 Mentee
“As a Mexican American growing up in a predominantly Hispanic community, I grew up with the mindset that I was not college material. Regent has given me the opportunity to pursue my dream and become what God has destined in me.”
Irene Briggs, Ph.D., 2011 Strategic Leadership
“Regent provided valuable internship experiences — from working for a Congressman to work in Iraq with the Kurdish government.”
Jennifer Salcido, M.A., 2012
“I spent a summer as a Regent Center for Global Justice intern, working on immigration issues, and contributing to a win for three asylum cases. This confirmed a distinct calling on my life to seek justice and advocate for the oppressed.”
Emily Arthur, J.D., 2015
