Bio

Professor Janis Kirkland is the director of the Legal Analysis, Research and Writing program for the law school. She has taught Legal Analysis, Research, and Writing for the law school since 1997, and also has taught Environmental Law.

Kirkland is a graduate of T.C. Williams School of Law at the University of Richmond, where she was Valedictorian of her law class, was on the law review, and was recipient of a number of academic awards.
