How to Access Financial Aid Information in Genisys
What is Genisys?
Genisys is the name of Regent University’s self-service student portal. In Genisys, returning students, new students, and applicants can access, view, and update many different school-related items such as: accept loan offers, view account summaries and balances, register for classes, enroll in direct deposit, and update personal and demographic information.
Two Access Points for Genisys
Continuing students and new students who submitted the enrollment deposit will have been given a MyRegent ID from Regent’s IT department. The MyRegent Portal is the recommended access point for Genisys for students in this category. Students will log in with their MyRegent ID and password. To access Genisys, students must click on the Genisys tab on the top left of the page.
Prospective students, applicants, and recently admitted students who have not yet submitted an enrollment deposit must access Genisys directly. In order to login, students must have their Regent Student ID number and 6-digit PIN.
- Log in to the MyRegent portal.
- Click on the “Financial Aid” link.
- Access the main Financial Aid page from the MyRegent portal.
- Check to make sure the correct aid year is selected. This can be adjusted in the top right-hand corner of the screen.
- Click on the “Home” tab.
- Scroll down and review your requirements under the “Student Requirements” section. Detailed information is provided for each requirement by clicking on the drop-down arrow.
- Access the main Financial Aid page from the MyRegent portal.
- Check to make sure the correct aid year is selected. This can be adjusted in the top right-hand corner of the screen.
- View the status of your financial aid by clicking on the “Home” tab.
- Access the main Financial Aid page from the MyRegent portal.
- Check to make sure the correct aid year is selected. This can be adjusted in the top right-hand corner of the screen.
- Click on the “Offer” tab to review your loan offer(s).
- Access the Genisys Main Menu
- Select the tab for the Bill and Payment Center
- Select My Account
- Select Account Activity
- Select the semester you would like to view
- Access the Genisys main page
- Click on the Bill and Payment Center tab
- Click Continue
- Select the Refund tab
- Access the main Financial Aid page from the MyRegent portal.
- Check to make sure the correct aid year is selected. This can be adjusted in the top right-hand corner of the screen.
- Click on the “Satisfactory Academic Progress” tab.
- Log in to Genisys using the most appropriate Access Point
- Select the Bill and Payment Center tab
- Click Continue
- Select the Payment Plans tab
