COST: No payment is needed at the time of the screening; a claim will be filed with your carrier. Please bring your insurance card with you to the appointment. Regent Health Plan Participants are covered at 100%.

The American Cancer Society recommends scheduling your first, or baseline, mammogram between ages 40-44 and then annual screening starting at age 45, unless there is a family history of breast cancer, in which case you should speak with your doctor regarding earlier screening. Breast cancer strikes 1 in 8 women. Mammography detects cancer, and early detection saves lives.
