40 Days of Prayer & Fasting
Michele Bachmann, Dean of the Robertson School of Government, will host Regent’s 40 Days of Prayer & Fasting event to offer fellowship with believers around the world, culminating on Yom Kippur. the History of Islam and its Impact on the Arab/Israel War
The Robertson School of Government was honored to host Mr. William J. “Bill” Federer to share an in-person and online boot camp to understand Islam, its history, and its impact. Mr. Federer, a national speaker, author, and member of Regent University’s Board of Trustees, will bring knowledge of the historical and motivational influences of Islam in the current Middle East conflict. Join us for a dynamic, two-hour presentation by subject matter expert Mr. Bill Federer. The event took place in Regent University’s Shaw Chapel via livestream on Monday, November 13, 2023, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm ET.
Federal State Local Government and How They Interact with Dean Bachmann, Gov. McDonnell, and Mayor Dyer
Former Virginia Governor Bob McDonnell hosted a casual conversation with The Honorable Michele Bachmann and Virginia Beach Mayor Bobby Dyer as they discussed federal, state, and local government and how they interact. Michele Bachmann is a former senator from Minnesota and member of Congress, and currently serves as the Dean of the Robertson School of Government at Regent University.
Globalism Rising: Authoritarianism and the Demise of Civil Liberties
Throughout the world, individual liberties and freedom are being lost as authoritarianism rises. Learn what’s at stake and how to live in these unprecedented times. Host Michele Bachmann, former member of Congress and current Dean of the Robertson School of Government at Regent University, moderated discussions with a variety of experts, including Sen. Rand Paul, Dr. Ed Hindson, Mr. Bill Federer, Dr. Michael Rectenwald, Messrs. Jim and Joe Hoft, and Mr. Leo Hohmann.
9/11: A 20-Year Retrospective
9/11 is the day America changed. Many still struggle to understand and deal with the change. Before 9/11, America had never experienced such terrorism. Upon the 20th anniversary, RSG hosted a 20-year retrospective to look at terrorism from a historical perspective, discuss contemporary issues, and look toward the future. Guest speakers included Chancellor Pat Robertson, Dean Michele Bachmann, Mr. Bill Federer, Gen. John Ashcroft, Retired FBI Brig Barker, U.S. Ambassador to the Netherlands Peter Hoekstra, NYC Police Commissioner on 9/11 Bernie Kerik, Author Daveed Gartenstein-Ross, Rep. Dan Crenshaw, Sen. Tom Cotton, Judge Marion Warren, and Robertson School of Government faculty.
Election Integrity
The Robertson School of Government presented a conference exploring Election Integrity in America with a variety of guests including keynote speakers Dr. Ben Carson and Mr. Eric Metaxas. Moderated by RSG Dean and former Congresswoman Michele Bachmann, the virtual conference included seven hours of timely discussion on every citizen’s right to vote in a free and fair election.
Distinguished Statesman
RSG has awarded three Distinguished Statesman awards to esteemed servant leaders based on their dedication to public service. The previous awardees include Lt. Gov. Winsome Earle-Sears, former U.S. Attorney General and Missouri Governor John Ashcroft, and former U.S. Secretary of State and CIA Director Michael R. Pompeo.
