Jonathan Ottaway, Th.D.

Bio

Dr. Jonathan Ottaway has been appointed full-time assistant professor in Christian Theology for the Regent University School of Divinity, beginning July 1, 2024. Dr. Ottaway is an accomplished musician and theologian in the Pentecostal-charismatic tradition. Originally from the UK, Dr. Ottaway received a B.A. in Music from Cambridge University, a Master of Divinity from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, and a Doctor of Theology from Duke Divinity School. The title of his dissertation is “Worship On Earth As It Is In Heaven: Discovering the Liturgical History of Pentecostal-Charismatic Worship.”
