Regent University is offering a new $10,000 Freedom Scholarship available to new on-campus, undergraduate students.

The $10,000 Freedom Scholarship underscores our dedication to upholding values of freedom, truth, and virtue. The scholarship will provide free housing for two years on Regent’s campus in Virginia Beach, Virginia – an award valued at $10,000.

To apply for the $10,000 Freedom Scholarship, share a one-minute reel on Instagram by July 31 showing us how you’re preparing to Change the World at Regent University. Are you volunteering, working, traveling or filling up your free time this summer with your favorite hobby? We’d love for you to share your summer with us in an original, vlog-style video. Once you film your video, use #RUready22 and tag our account, @regentuniversityadmissions.

Eligibility Guidelines

– Submit your application and enrollment deposit to Regent University by 11:59:59 PM ET on July 31, 2022.

– All applicants must follow @regentuniversityadmissions on Instagram, tag @regentuniversityadmissions and post their video entry as a “Reel” with the hashtag #RUready22.

– Videos must be submitted by 11:59:59 PM ET on July 31, 2022.

Terms & Conditions

The Freedom Scholarship is not valid for students currently enrolled at Regent University. This award is non-transferable and valid only for first-time undergraduate students enrolling in Fall 2022, within a degree-seeking, program in the College of Arts & Sciences who submit their application and enrollment deposit by July 31, 2022. To be eligible for award distribution, recipients must be a full-time (12+ credit hours) residential student. Scholarship will cover full cost of housing expenses for first two years (up to $5,000 each year, $2,500 per semester). Award is non-transferrable between terms and payable only toward Regent University housing expenses. Recipient is responsible for any housing costs in excess of award amount. Award, when combined with other university discounts, may not exceed the total cost of housing for the recipient. Recipient must maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.33 or higher to qualify for renewal. There are deadlines and requirements to enroll and remain eligible for this program. Please speak with your academic advisor about these requirements and eligibility. Regent University reserves the right to change the terms and conditions of this scholarship at any time at its discretion, as well as to suspend or terminate the scholarship.
