Resources

The Military and Veterans Affairs Office at Regent University understands firsthand what it is like to transition out of the military and into the civilian world. This is particularly true for those entering into the world of academia. Below are some university, national and local resources which you and your family may benefit from.

Regent University Resources

Department of Education: College Comparison Tools

  • The College Scorecard: A consumer planning tool and resource to assist prospective students and their families as they evaluate options in selecting a school.

  • The College Navigator: A consumer tool that provides school information to include tuition and fees, retention and graduation rates, use of financial aid, student loan default rates, and features a cost calculator and school comparison tool.

  • The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau: A web tool that allows prospective students to enter the names of up to three schools and receive detailed financial information on each one, as well as the ability to enter actual financial award information.

  • The Financial Aid Shopping Sheet: This is a model financial aid award letter designed to simplify the information that prospective students receive about costs and financial aid so they can easily compare institutions and make informed decisions about where to attend school. Once a student has a financial aid award package at Regent, students can access a personalized shopping sheet through Regent University's student self-service portal: Genisys.
