Office 2007 Service Pack 2

During the month of October, Information Technology will install Service Pack 2 for Office 2007 on all Regent computers campus-wide. Service Pack 2 includes many security updates, additional file format compatibility, and improved Outlook performance. For more details, please click here.

After Service Pack 2 is installed, the next time Outlook is launched it will take anywhere from 5 minutes to 30 minutes to optimize your email cache and offline PST files depending on the size of your email stores and the speed of your computer.


A message will display indicating that Outlook is optimizing your email. Please allow this process to finish completely. You may use Outlook Web Access (OWA) while the optimization is running.
