Minimum Computer Standards for Regent Students
Please see the Computer Recommendations page for our recommended computer standards. The hardware and software suggestions are not requirements, but they are a good starting point for purchasing a new system for your studies. A number of other configurations will accommodate successful completion of your program.
Getting Your MyRegent ID and Password
As a student of the university, you will receive access to the university's computer resources. This includes the MyRegent Portal, Blackboard, Genisys, Email and access to network storage space.
In order to begin using your MyRegent ID, you must first initialize your account and set up a password. After you are accepted to Regent University, you will receive an email with your assigned MyRegent ID and instructions for initializing your account.
Information about your Regent University Email Account:
Your Regent University email address will be your MyRegent ID followed by "@mail.regent.edu".
For example: email@example.com
Do not share your password with anyone. It is a violation of university policy to allow someone else to use your computer login and password and you can lose your computer privileges if you do so.
