Book Discussion: Dracula, by Bram Stoker

Friday, November 8, 2013
12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Join Dr. Susannah Clements and the Library Book Club for a discussion of Dracula, Bram Stoker's classic tale of evil and malignancy defeated by courage, love and faith. According to Dr. Clements, "The heroes are Christian warriors, armed with faith and consciously seeing themselves as fighting the vampire for the sake of God's kingdom. The novel is fully grounded in a Christian worldview. Ultimately, it is only faith in the power of Christ that leads to victory over sin, symbolized by the vampire".

If you only know Dracula through the movies, you don't know Stoker's novel. The library has multiple copies of the book, both in print and online.
