Networking for Counselors (2nd session)

Career Services and Chi Sigma Iota (CSI) are hosting a networking event! We are hosting this event twice to include students who work and may need to participate in an event at 6:00pm.The goal is to reduce the anxiety that is typically associated with the concept of networking. Students, alumni and faculty/staff are asked to RSVP so we may prepare a typed name tag for you. However, you may arrive a few minutes EARLY to get a generic name tag.
Career Services will provide a 10-15 minute educational talk on networking best practices. Then you will meet 5-20 other professionals (students, faculty members/staff/intern supervisors/etc). This will be an organized, fun and efficient way to practice your networking skills! Business cards are welcomed, resumes are not! Please note, there will be open networking time so you may speak in more depth with key connections and meet anyone you may not have met during the structured part of the event.
