Endangered Gender: A Discussion on Sex-Selective Abortion
Friday, February 15 - Saturday, February 16, 2013
The purpose of this event is to bring to light the reality of sex-selective abortion here in the United States and abroad. Specifically, to discuss the fact that there is a propensity for baby girls to be chosen for abortion over baby boys. In addition, this event will facilitate a discussion about what a world with fewer girls than boys looks like, what this reality means for society and how it has already impacted our world.
