Best Practices
- Your caring relationship with the student is the first step in helping to overcome a disability.
- Be sure to have the student contact Student Services to explain the need.
- Learn some strategies for including students with disabilities in your course activities.
- Design your course in a proactive way, so as to reduce the need for accommodations once a student with a disability enrolls in the class.
