International Education Week is an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education & exchange worldwide. This joint initiative of the U.S. Departments of State and Education is meant to prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences in the United States.
International Education Week is a world-wide celebration of international educational endeavors. It allows international students an opportunity to share their culture and education, and celebrates study abroad opportunities. There will be many activities around campus to celebrate IEW, including the kick-off event “CULTURE IN THE COMMONS” on Sunday, November 15th.
In partnership with OISS, the Student Activities Board and our own Marketing student Vanja Bule, a campaign called #iWitness will be posted around campus where Regent international students will be featured. These posters and videos will be showcased at several locations around the University throughout the week of November 15th. Please take the time to view and enjoy Culture in the Commons, the IEW video & posters, and all of the events of the week.
