"I've come to realize that there are two main reasons I have experienced bumps in the road when it comes to my career and educational goals: lack of knowledge and fear. Whenever I do not know something or I am scared to move forward on the path that God has laid for me, I often think of the first part of Hosea 4:6 which states 'my people are destroyed from lack of knowledge...' and 2 Timothy 1:7 which states 'for God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.' I know that if I am walking the path that He has chosen for me, then I should not be fearful because God is with me, but that I also have to be smart and obtain the knowledge needed to step into my potential."
