At present, she is pursuing a Master's degree in Higher Education with a concentration in Student Affairs from Old Dominion University and has faithfully served as a Career Counselor at Regent University. She is a valuable addition to the Career Services team and provides great counsel and advice to students unsure of their career path.
With a background as a graduate assistant in the Student affairs office and as a House Director at Stanford University, Leah has worked closely with student leaders to help them regain focus on their career paths and has also facilitated residential programs which promote awareness regarding self-image, self-esteem, and cultural awareness. Using this knowledge and experience she wants to help students develop their own unique talents and grow spiritually and academically. "I hope to be a valuable and reliable resource to students and help guide them into a career path that they are passionate about and that will provide true happiness in their lives."
"My advice for students is to remember who has your back, where your support and strength come from. Don't worry about what is ahead of you or what is to come, be confident in all that you are, who you have been and who you will become in Christ. 'Be strong. Take courage. Don't be intimidated. Don't give them a second thought because God, your God, is striding ahead of you. He's right there with you. He won't let you down; he won't leave you.' Deuteronomy 31:6"
