Student Loan Exit Counseling
Federal regulations state that students who have borrowed federal student loans (Stafford, PLUS, Perkins) are required to participate in a Student Loan Exit Counseling session upon falling below halftime enrollment. Completion of the counseling session does not initiate repayment of your student loans, or indicate an intent to withdraw from your program. It is an information session designed to insure that federal student loan borrowers truly understand repayment options available to them. In an effort to assist you with fulfilling this regulation, the Central Financial Aid Office provides an online opportunity to complete this requirement. You may complete Online Loan Exit Counselin at www.studentloans.gov.
