Eligibility: Chartway Federal Credit Union (CFCU) established a scholarship open to all Chartway, HeritageWest, and SouthWest Community Members who are currently enrolled in varying levels of study, including those pursuing a graduate degree. Each applicant must have his/her own account or be the joint owner of an account prior to submission. Ambassadorial Scholarships - Type: Scholarship Award: Contact for more details Eligibility: This program sponsors several types of scholarships for undergraduate and graduate students as well as qualified professionals pursuing vocational studies. All applicants must be citizens of a country in which there are Rotary clubs and active within the club, must have completed at least two years of college-level coursework or equivalent professional experience before commencing their scholarship studies. American Indian Graduate Center Scholarships - Type: Scholarship Award: Contact for more details Eligibility: Student must be a member of a federally recognized American Indian tribe or Alaska Native group, or possess one-fourth degree federally recognized Indian blood. Student must demonstrate financial need after exhausting available aid at the college financial aid office. Americorps - Type: Fellowship Award: Full-time members receive an education award of $4,725 to pay for college, graduate school, or to pay back student loans. They also receive health insurance, training, and student loan deferment. About half of the members also receive a modest annual living allowance of about $9,300, along with health insurance. Members who serve part-time receive a partial education award. Eligibility: Must be a U.S. citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident age 17 or older. Eligibility: Must be a U.S. citizen enrolled in an accredited online degree program located in the USA with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. Le Petit Scholarships - Type: Scholarship. Award: Two $1,000 scholarships per semester. Lifetime Federal Tax Credit - Type: Tax credit Award: 20% tax credit for first $5,000 of tuition and fees through 2002, and for the first 10,000 thereafter. Eligibility: Lifetime Learning Credit for College Juniors, Seniors, Graduate Students and working Americans pursuing lifelong learning to upgrade their skills. For those beyond the first two years of college, or taking classes part-time to improve or upgrade their job skills, the family will receive a The credit is available for net tuition and fees (less grant aid) paid for post-secondary enrollment after June 30, 1998. The credit is available on a per-taxpayer (family) basis. Lilly Reintegration Scholarship - Type: Scholarship Award: Amounts vary Eligibility: Applicant must be diagnosed with schizophrenia, schizophreniform disorder, schizoaffective disorder, or bipolar disorder. Must currently be receiving medical treatment, including medications and psychiatric follow-ups. Must be actively involved in rehabilitative or reintegrative efforts, such as clubhouse membership, part-time work, volunteer efforts, or school enrollment. NOTE: Correspondence and distance learning courses, online courses and non-credit courses are not covered under this scholarship. This scholarship is only available to U. Read Preacher/ Scholar Award - Type: Contest Award: (1) $20,000 (3 runner ups) $1,000 Eligibility: Candidate must be in their final year of pursuing a Master of Divinity degree and attend a school that is a member of the Association of Theological Schools. The candidate must be scheduled to receive their degree no later than June of the year they compete. Candidate must be nominated by their seminary. No more than two nominations from one school will be considered in a given year. Roothbert Fund, Inc. - Type: Scholarship/Grant Award: $2,000-$3,000 Eligibility: Applicant must be a permanent resident of the following states as of March 1: Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Delaware, Maryland, District of Columbia, Virginia, West Virginia, or North Carolina. All applicants are eligible regardless of sex, age, color, nationality or religious background. While the Fund does not emphasize any particular form of religious practice or worship, it seeks to provide support to persons motivated by spiritual values.Completed application forms must be postmarked no later than February 1 to be considered for the following year. Sallie Mae Fund Scholarships - Type: Scholarship Award: Awards vary upon program Eligibility:To be eligible for the Sallie Mae Fund Scholarship Programs, students must be accepted and enrolled at a Title IV eligible, accredited postsecondary two- or four-year college or university, vocational, or technical school in the United States or Puerto Rico and meet program-specific eligibility requirements.

-Salle Mae Fund "First in My Family Scholarship Program": This program is in partnership with the Hispanic College Fund. Scholarships range from $500 to $5,000 per Hispanic-American student.
-The Salle Mae Fund Unmet Need Scholarship Program: This program is intended to help financial aid officers meet the needs of students whose financial aid packages fall short by $1,000 or more. Open to families with a combined income of less than $30,000.
-The Sallie Mae Fund American Dream Scholarship Program: This program offers scholarships ranging from $500 to $5,000 to African-American students with demonstrated financial need.
