    In this first course, students will learn the fundamentals of consulting, as well as core industry terminology. This will allow students to see the context in which consulting services can provide value to 21st century organizations, both large and small. This course will also examine the consulting cycle, from initial contact with a potential client, all the way through to measuring the performance and results of a consulting project.

  • CPC042 - Organizational Assessment and the Analysis
    The role of the consultant includes being able to perform assessments on organizations and analyze them beyond just what can be seen on the surface. This course will help students do just that. Students will explore different assessment methodologies for measuring various components of organizational performance, in order to gain a strong understanding of where an organization stands both quantitatively and qualitatively.

  • CPC043 - Change Management and Organizational Design
    The one constant that we can be certain of is change. However, people in organizations often fear change, which creates a tremendous opportunity for consultants to guide organizations through times of uncertainty and complexity. This course will give students a fundamental understanding of change management strategies, as they apply to the consulting role. Further, this course examines the core competencies of organizational design, which is the very root of most organizations. Together these powerful tools will give students tools to diagnose a number of organizational issues.

  • CPC044 - Consulting in a Global Context
    The world is changing at a dramatic rate, which means tremendous change for organizations. This presents a tremendous opportunity for consultants, as we move further into this century. However, the skilled consultant will have to understand how the global marketplace is changing, be culturally adept and agile, and understand that people are communicating differently today than they did in the past. This culminating course will teach students to apply the consulting skills they have learned in a truly global context.
