Program Description:

Sharpen your prophetic gifts in this dynamic hands-on program featuring world-renowned Pastors Tom and Jane Hamon. Dr. Hamon has written numerous books on the prophetic including the very popular Prophets, Pitfalls and Principles: God's Prophetic People Today.

Ministering Spiritual Gifts is designed to help students explore their calling related to prophetic ministry, prophetic praise and prophetic teams. The courses provide attendees with a balanced scriptural background about the Gifts of the Holy Spirit and their place in the Body of Christ. The second part of every session involves practical “activations.” Through this program students will advance from understanding theory alone to experiencing the reality of God’s supernatural graces within the prophetic.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Students will embrace the understanding that the restoration of spiritual gifts to the Church is expedient for today
  • Students will deepen their sensitivity to the Voice of the Holy Spirit by learning to listen
  • Students will learn how the human mind and spirit work in relation to the supernatural gifts of the Spirit
  • Students will receive the prophetic benefits of praise and worship as designed by God
  • Students will understand the team concept when ministering as a co-laborer with Christ

Target Audience:

Anyone interested in ministering spiritual gifts such as clergy, laypersons, worship leaders, students, staff and those with an interest in renewal.

Program Requirements:

Student must complete all the sessions in order to receive a completion certificate.

This Program Includes These Session:

  • Restoration of the Gifts | Taught by Special Guests - Pastors Tom and Jane Hamon
    To reveal and review the restorative patterns of the Holy Spirit as it relates to spiritual gifts, and how He releases greater insight and revelation for specific times and seasons. Emphasis is on the movement of the Holy Spirit today.

    Session Learning Outcomes:

    1. Students will understand the restorative nature of the Holy Spirit

    2. Students will identify the movement of the Holy Spirit through Scripture

    3. Students will receive clarity regarding what the Holy Spirit is doing today among His Church

  • God Wants to Communicate
    God desires intimate fellowship with His creation but sin not only separated us from His Presence, but it has also dulled our ears and humanity lost is desire and sensitivity to God’s voice. The course will investigate some methods God uses to communicate with us.

    Session Learning Outcomes:

    1. Student will perceive God’s desire to walk in intimate fellowship with them

    2. Students will examine what the New Testament has to say about communication

    3. Students will identify and examine tangible methods in which to alleviate this condition

  • Discerning the Voice of God
    It is normal for those who are born of the Spirit (John 3:5; 15:15) to understand that communication on the spirit level is normal. The Spirit of the Lord speaks to each of His children according to how He made them. Thus, this session will help differentiate the various methods God uses to communicate.

    Session Learning Outcomes:

    1. Students will learn how to fine tune their spiritual hearing

    2. Students will gain greater sensitivities in hearing the Voice of God

    3. Students will learn to cooperate with the Spirit of Lord through the exercise of spiritual gifts

  • Christ’s Commands Concerning Spiritual Gifts
    Exploring the nine commands from Scripture regarding the use of spiritual gifts will give the people of God the boldness to act, receive the Grace of God, and to walk in obedience while discovering the apostolic/prophetic patterns and principles needed to build the Body of Christ.

    Session Learning Outcomes:

    1. Students will receive the biblical foundation regarding the function of spiritual gifts

    2. Student will be encourage to put biblical knowledge into practice

    3. Student will explore the apostolic/prophetic pattern and principles God is facilitating to perfect His Church based on Eph. 4:16.

  • Ministering the Mind of Christ
    Growing in the spirit of the mind is critical if one is to achieve greater capacities to hear the voice of God. How does the mind relate to the spirit work through supernatural gifts? There are five mind type revealed in Scripture that can help and encourage.

    Session Learning Outcomes:

    1. Students will understand the relationship between the mind and the spirit

    2. Students will enlarge their capacity to hear the voice of God

    3. Students will become acquainted with the five mind types revealed in Scripture

  • The Revelation Gifts
    Defining the revelation gifts such as word of knowledge, the word of wisdom and the discerning of spirits. Learning the dynamics of how they operate within the believer.

    Session Learning Outcomes:

    1. Students will be able to explain the difference between the three revelation gifts

    2. Students will understand the workings of the Holy Spirit within the revelatory gifts

    3. Students will gain greater insight into the Lord’s infinite knowledge and perspective

  • Keys to the Kingdom
    Receiving from God’s Spirit is essential to the believer. It is the lifeline of a person’s spiritual journey. Students will learn that it is imperative that the believer is changed from glory to glory while becoming a functioning member in the Body of Christ.

    Session Learning Outcomes:

    1. Students will identify the keys needed to profit from God's Spirit

    2. Student will learn the necessity of mixing faith with the Word of God

    3. Students will embrace the liberty that is this in Christ

  • Five Methods of Prophesying
    Distinguishing between the gift of prophecy and the Office of the Prophet is essential within the Body of Christ. Identify prophetic protocol as it relates to the authority of Scripture and bring clarity as to how God uses communication to release His prophetic voice.

    Session Learning Outcomes:

    1. Students will identify the ways in which God speaks including the authority of Scripture

    2. Students will learn why the prophetic gift is important within the Body of Christ

    3. Students will learn the distinction Christ makes concerning the Office of the Prophet

  • God's Prophetic Purpose for Praise
    God is purposeful in everything that he asks us to do. The biblical emphasis on praise is strategic. Students will learn that praise raises our awareness of His many blessings in the Church as well as individually. Students will also learn the consequences and the prophetic purpose for praise.

    Session Learning Outcomes:

    1. Student will learn that God is purposeful

    2. Students will understand God's prophetic purposes in praise and the power in praise

    3. Students will embrace the fact that God is the designer of praise

  • Releasing the Voice of God in Worship
    Worship is essential to communicating and receiving from God. It conditions the atmosphere for the Holy Spirit move and establish his presence. Students will learn about realizing the voice of God in worship as the Holy Spirit speaks in an atmosphere created by worship.

    Session Learning Outcomes:

    1. Student will learn the importance of creating an atmosphere of welcome

    2. Sudents will recognize that Jesus is Present when the Church worships

    3. Students will understand the manifestations of the Spirit in healing, deliverance, etc.

  • Developing Ministry Teams
    Ministry teams are efficient and effective. Discovering its Scriptural foundations will transform any team into powerful cola borers for the Kingdom of God.

    Session Learning Outcomes:

    1. Students will understand the benefit of working in a team

    2. Students will identify the Scriptural foundation and benefit of team ministry

    3. Student will explore the principles and elements found in effective team ministry

  • Establishing Prophetic Teams
    Establishing ministry teams require various tools, patterns and principles along with flexibility and adaptation in order to function under optimum anointing. Students will learn best practices of establishing prophetic teams.

    Session Learning Outcomes:

    1. Student will understand the tools, patterns and principles needed in team ministry

    2. Student learn how to remain flexible and adaptably in the flow of the Holy Spirit

    3. Students will embrace the prophetic dimension of the Holy Spirit in team ministry

Dr. Craig Von BuseckDr. Craig Von Buseck:

Craig von Buseck is a published author, popular speaker and a contributing writer for CBN.com. He holds a Doctor of Ministry and an MA in Religious Journalism from Regent University. His most recent book by Regal Publishers, Praying the News, was co-written by CBN News anchor Wendy Griffith.

Craig is the author of NetCasters: Using the Internet to Make Fishers of Men, by Broadman and Holman Publishers and Seven Keys to Hearing God's Voice from Hensley Publishers. Craig has also written a chapter on prophetic evangelism for God's Supernatural Power in You by Destiny Image Publishers.

Craig is an ordained minister and has extensive ministry and speaking experience. He travels often to minister and speak at professional events. He serves on the Internet Evangelism Network executive board.
