Regent's Bachelor of Arts in English is one of the most versatile English degree programs in Virginia, offering a comprehensive study of words and how they work in writing, language and literature. Through a range of language and literature courses, you will grow in an understanding and appreciation for the good, the true and the beautiful. As you explore and interact with human nature as created by God and human experience as expressed in writing, you will better understand and articulate your Christian worldview by cultivating an ability to reason and communicate well.

There are numerous careers for English degrees, and through your coursework at Regent, you will develop skills in reading, writing, and thinking — critical skills that all employers desire. At the same time, you will grow in your love and understanding of God, yourself, and the world to prepare you for a life of leadership and service.
