Walk Me Home 5K
In our nation, there are over 500,000 children waiting to be adopted. In Hampton Roads alone, there are hundreds of children who have been separated from their families and need permanency in a loving family.

Yet people struggle to be able to adopt, and are unaware of how to be a foster parent.Regent University and the Council of Graduate Students want to bridge this gap.

Coinciding with National Adoption Day, we invite you to run or walk to raise funds for these waiting children and to make training available for parents who want to adopt. Kids are welcome, too, and can skate, run, walk, or scooter the race. Kids under 18 can register for free.

Can't walk yourself? Sponsor a Child who is walking by giving $5, $10, or more!

All proceeds from Walk Me Home directly benefit adoption and foster care services at the UP Center.
