School of Divinity

Pursue your calling At Regent. ATS Accredited ministry degrees.

Regent University’s School of Divinity is a renewal-perspective, interdenominational school of theology for all who want to follow their faith into ministry education for the 21st century. As a seminary student, you can receive first-rate curriculum in biblical interpretation, theology and Christian history to guide you to begin leading, or lead more effectively, within your ministry.

Regent’s seminary school is accredited by the Association of Theological Schools to offer graduate and post-graduate level degrees.

  • We have a growing number of online 36 credit hour graduate-level degrees focused on specific aspects of ministry.
  • We offer a Master of Theological Studies (MTS) that is more academic in nature, and designed to prepare you for teaching opportunities in the church and academy.
  • Our Master of Divinity (M.Div.) has two majors: an online Theology & Ministry and an on-campus Biblical Literature & Languages specialty, both of which are considered the gold standard degree for ministry preparation.
  • Our Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) degree is offered completely online, and known for its strong academic and applied ministry focus.
  • The Master of Theology (Th.M.) is a post-graduate level degree program designed to allow you to master an area of theological studies.
  • Our Ph.D. in Renewal Theology offers world-class training in a number of theological specialties with only six weeks of residency.

You can transfer up to 49% of a graduate-level from prior learning at accredited schools for most masters-level degree programs.

Whether you choose to become a minister, teach in the academy, join the military, or serve on the mission field, we can help prepare you to change the world through the Gospel.
