Annual Virtual Conference on Moral Leadership

The Classical Virtues in Leadership

December 11, 2011 - December 17, 2011

Welcome Note from Conference Chairs

Welcome to our second Virtual Conference on Moral Leadership. We are deeply grateful for our global partners, St. Augustine College in South Africa, the Methodist Theological University in South Korea and the Høyskolen for Ledelse og Teologi in Norway. This conference is free, open to everyone and will be conducted solely via the Internet. Designed to explore the moral dimensions of organizational leadership and to promote and foster new research in this field, this year's conference will focus on the classical virtues of leadership: humility, kindness, patience, diligence, charity, temperance and chastity, and the occurrence of these virtues in contemporary organizational leadership. Please visit the pages for each of the presentations (video and paper) on the designated day and feel free to comment and participate in the online discussion board. It remains a true privilege and joy to explore and learn together.

Peace and all good,
