entrepreneur profiles: Robert Levy

Widely regarded as one of Jamaica's most remarkable entrepreneurs and a man of steadfast faith, Mr. Robert Levy is the chairman of Jamaica Broilers Group Limited and a 2010 inductee into the Private Sector Organization of Jamaica Hall of Fame. For more than 45 years, he has served in various management and executive positions at Jamaica Broilers Group Limited. For a time, he led this growing enterprise as president and CEO and has been a driving force in developing it into the Caribbean’s most successful agro-processing entity. He is the founder and current director of the Caribbean Poultry Association, the director and past president of The American Chamber of Commerce, and serves as chairman or board member on several agricultural and national development-related boards. Honored throughout his career as a nation builder, an innovator, a contributor to the development of Jamaica’s livestock industry; and for his unquestioned integrity and high ethical standards in business practices, he is quite a success story, yet he is quick to give all of the glory and credit to God.
