Information for Certificate Program Applicants

Please use the following admission requirements checklist to complete your admissions process for our certificate programs. All application materials must be received by the deadline for the semester to which you are applying.

Certificate Program Admission Requirements Checklist

1. Complete Your University Application
You can begin your online application here. To begin you will be prompted to create a login ID and six-digit PIN to access our Genisys student information system. The login ID and PIN allow you to save your application so you can view or edit it at a later time.

2. Pay Your $25 Application Fee
Your application will be considered official in our system once we have received your application fee. For your convenience, you may pay your non-refundable application fee online or by mail using a check.

3. Provide Your Official College Transcripts
Official transcripts that represent all college credits you have ever received are required, even if credits were transferred into another institution. Have Regent University obtain your official college transcripts for you. Click here to find out how.

4. Send Your Professional Resume
Provide an updated copy of your professional resume or curriculum vitae that includes:

  • Employment history with details of responsibilities, skill sets and results
  • School, community and church leadership positions
  • Service activities in which you have been involved
  • Academic and non-academic honors and distinctions you have received

Your resume should be emailed directly to the Admissions Office at sbladmissions@regent.edu.

5. Write Your Admissions Essay
Your admissions essay should be emailed directly to the Admissions Office at sbladmissions@regent.edu. Be sure to view our essay writing guidelines.


Note: All items submitted as part of the application process become the property of Regent University and cannot be returned.
