MBA
Program Description
The MBA program, while grounded in traditional business theory, explores contemporary concepts as well as leadership development critical to success in today’s global marketplace. Available on campus or 100% online, the MBA offers tremendous flexibility to fit almost any schedule and can be completed in as little as 16 months. Candidates to the MBA program generally have significant work experience (a minimum of two years is expected) which contributes greatly to an exceptional learning environment and a network of colleagues. An optional residency for this program is available to new students once a year in May. The event begins on a Thursday evening and concludes Saturday afternoon. |
MBA graduates will be able to:
- Develop business ideas based on strategic foresight that align with driving forces that will shape future markets and local communities
- Develop marketing plans specific to customer/consumer and market needs in global markets
- Create technology innovation plans based on consumer needs that bring about growth in corporate products, services, and ideas that align with innovation theory
- Develop human resource systems and plans sensitive to the dynamics of corporate human behavior in different global contexts
- Create actual and pro forma financial analysis and accounting plans for prospective products and services for domestic or global introduction
- Develop production plans and quality improvement plans for product manufacturing and service delivery in diverse global cultures and environments
- Research, write, and present business plans that meet the funding requirements of the financial investment community for either a new business or a new product/service within an existing company
In addition to the core course competencies above our MBA graduates will be able to:
- Apply biblical principles to contemporary business problems
- Communicate clearly in both written and oral forms
- Communicate to a minimal level of social introduction in a language other than English
- Manage ethically in cross-cultural environments
- Identify problems in an organization and develop values-based solutions
