It also requires a leader who has acquired the knowledge and confidence to advocate transformational change—and then make it happen. The Doctor of Strategic Leadership (DSL) is an applied, multidisciplinary terminal degree designed to provide instant solutions for today's organizational challenges. With three majors from which to choose, professionals are enabled to effectively renew and transform organizations across the globe.

- Contribute to academic and practical knowledge development about how organizations operate and grow by conducting and reporting organizational and leadership research, as well as best practices in organizational leadership
- Explain and predict organizational and leadership phenomena by selecting and applying the correct organizational and leadership theory(ies) in order to increase organizational efficiency and effectiveness
- Conduct and report consulting assistance to a client that improves client’s organization performance.
- Write and publish in popular press publications on organizational and leadership development topics
- Conduct and present exegetical and expository study of scripture to show the Biblical roots of organizational leadership concepts.
- Present at national and international conferences on theoretical and practical aspects of organizational leadership
- Write and publish in applied journals on issues related to organization and leadership development
- Develop a commercially viable final project that integrates a biblical and global perspectives and evidences a deep understanding of the theory and practice of organizational leadership

- Lead a scenario learning process for a leadership team that analyzes emerging trends, and tests the organizational strategy against a range of these possible futures.
- Evaluate the long-term impact of a policy intervention in the context of a national or regional forecast of 21st century driving forces.
- Conduct an audit of a client organization and offer suggestions on how they might improve their anticipatory management to frame and advance their mission.

- Complete an assessment on an organization’s readiness to begin an internal coaching initiative incorporating a strategic plan for a long-term organizational coaching program.
- Develop a training seminar for managers on incorporating a coaching style of management for improved work performance in the areas of soft skill development for their followers.
- Perform a 360-degree feedback assessment on a leader including a full debrief session and long-term coaching relationship based on the findings of the assessment and the leader’s personal development goals.
- Create, market, and launch a coaching business.

Graduates often serve as consultants, coaches or in various leadership roles that utilize the coaching function at a mid-management to executive level.
