The students who choose to study at the School of Global Leadership & Entrepreneurship at Regent University represent some of the finest minds from across our nation and the world. Scholarships made available to these emerging leaders and entrepreneurs offset the costs affiliated with attending a private institution like Regent and open the door to a world-class Christian education, regardless of a student’s economic background.
GLE has provided in excess of $800,000 a year from its operating budget for student scholarships. This amount is not sustainable from the annual operating budget.
While alumni giving has increased, the school projects it will need about $700,000 a year from designated annual fund gifts to help support deserving students. A well-funded scholarship base will also help the school keep future tuition increases at the lowest level possible and open a wider door for self-paying students.
Ideally, these funds need to come from endowed scholarships that cumulatively produce annual earnings to cover existing scholarship commitments now funded from the university’s operating budget. However, there are a number of ways to provide scholarship support to deserving students.
