Bredesen Endowed Chair for Leadership Formation & Renewal
GLE seeks funding for an Endowed Chair for Leadership Formation and Renewal in honor of the work and ministry of the Rev. Harald Bredesen, CBN founding board member and “chaplain” to Christian leaders throughout the world. Dr. David Gyertson, a three-time university president, is focusing his efforts on researching, consulting, executive coaching and doctoral level teaching about biblical principles of leadership formation and renewal.
A full professor’s salary and benefits cost GLE $150,000 each year and travel/research funds will add $25,000 each year. An endowment in the range of $2.5 to $3.5 million is desired.

Endowed Chair of Biblical Perspectives in Leadership
GLE seeks funding for an Endowed Chair for Biblical Perspectives in Leadership. The professor holding this chair will focus efforts on researching and teaching about biblical perspectives in leadership. This professor will spend one-half time teaching and one-half time researching. This is in contrast to the GLE standard work schedule of 2/3 teaching, 1/3 researching. The school has identified a leading international scholar for this position and now needs funding to formally fill the chair.
