Director of Military & Veterans Affairs
"Military & Veterans Affairs is responsible for all military recruiting, retention, and community efforts within the university. Our goal is to create a military-supportive environment where servicemembers, veterans, and spouses can pursue their academic, professional, personal and spiritual goals."
Before coming to Regent University, Dave Boisselle served for 29 years in the United States Navy, where he rose through the ranks from enlisted seaman to commissioned officer, attaining three nontraditional college degrees. As educational services officer in the nuclear aircraft carrier USS George Washington, he led the Navy's successful pilot program to provide graduate courses to sailors at sea via video teleconference with Old Dominion University. Since 2004, he has presented Enlisted-to-Officer Program Career Days and workshops to sailors throughout Hampton Roads, Va. Upon retirement from the Navy in 2008, Dave was awarded the Defense Meritorious Service Medal. He lives in Chesapeake, Va., with his wife, Mely. They are the proud parents of John, a software engineer, and Meaghan, a registered nurse, and grandparents to Ethan.
Dave is currently pursuing his Doctorate of Strategic Leadership at Regent University.
Military & Veterans Affairs Enrollment Counselor
Chad holds a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Education from Wayland Baptist University, and he assists the Director of Military & Veterans Affairs in the corporate goal of building a military community within the Regent University campus. Prior to coming to Regent, Chad retired from the U.S. Navy as a Chief Fire Controlman. During his career, he deployed 5 times to the Middle East, visited 33 countries, sailed completely around the world and around Africa. Chad served onboard the USS O'Kane, USS Normandy, USS Anzio and Navy Information Operations Command Hawaii and held positions as Division Leading Chief Petty Officer, Boarding Officer, Command Investigator, Command Fitness Leader and Command Financial Specialist. Chad currently pursues his MBA from Regent's School of Business and Leadership.
